I think this is a given, assumed, among the bloggers. But I'm going to say it anyway.
I like to talk in absolutes. I like to think in terms of black and white. I like to say "this is wrong" and "this is right". I also know full well that there's a difference between my opinion and scripture. My opinion is just that and matters to a whopping 0.0000001% of the worlds population. Or whatever the actual math is for a handful of people. This blog however is designed to voice my opinion on things. My opinion on technology, theology, philosophy, history. Whatever I end up writing here is going to be tainted by my opinion.
I sincerely hope everyone who reads this can take it as such.
Recognize when I'm quoting scripture and go read it for yourself. But also recognize when I'm spouting my own opinion and don't get your toga all in a bunch. I'll debate you on important topics. I'll argue what I believe. But at the end of the day, we each have to stand before God on our own feet. If you decide "Hey, this guys cracked" and keep reading my blog anyway. Then, you're an odd duck for one, thanks for the views for two, and more power to you for three. I would much rather people read my stuff and have the response of "Well, that was an interesting perspective. I have considered it and come up with my own thoughts" over "Aha! This fellow agrees with me and I must spread his writings as a proselyte!" or "This guys a lunatic! I must argue with everything he says and troll all his posts!!".
Please, just read these as my opinion when they are and actual scripture for what it is and go think for yourself when you're done. You'll be doing everyone a favor by having an operating brain and honing it with worthwhile knowledge AFTER sharpening it with biblical world view.
